Why a Retreat?
Retreats are truly a treat. They offer you the opportunity to step away from the hectic and sometimes frantic pace of everyday life and turn inward, listening intimately to your body, heart and mind, allowing space to open to the presence and knowing of your own inner wisdom. Retreats offer the opportunity of deep connection; with yourself, with others, and with something greater through the practices of yoga, meditation and the resonance of community.
This retreat will offer a wide range of movement, meditation and inquiry practices which you can curate to your own needs, A few sessions each day are intended for the whole group, while many others are invitations for you to explore and go deeper into your practice, or pause, rest and integrate on your own. The longer meditation blocks will alternate 30-minute periods of sitting and walking. The nature-based practices are an opportunity to mindfully connect with the natural world through structured inquiry and sensory techniques. This is a unique opportunity to savor a variety of contemplative practices in a beautiful and nurturing space.

ACCOMMODATIONS
A home for transformative learning since 1972.
Our purpose is to nurture the conditions for transformative learning, healing and growth in service to a future in which people and planet thrive together. To serve this purpose, we center these principles:
Dignity: in centering dignity we recognize the inherent value and worth of each being. We recognize one and other and all beings as sentient and worthy of love.
Equity: in centering equity we recognize we live in a culture and society that actively undermines the dignity of many. We acknowledge the imperative to dismantle systems of oppression, starting with our own mindsets and ways of being.
Regeneration: in centering regeneration we recognize the imperative to live in alignment with life and the need for the restoration of ecosystems and ecological communities. We commit to rooting ourselves once again in the community of life.
Symbiosis: in centering symbiosis we recognize that generative relationships are mutually uplifting, and that our relationships--from how we structure our organization to how we steward the land to how we partner with others--can enhance outcomes for all.
