McKenzie’s work is dedicated to the power of connection. Yoga has empowered McKenzie to connect to her true nature, and she has been teaching since 2013. She has recognized that through the practice of yoga, she can so much more easily connect to others and our earth. She received her 200-hour certification in her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona, and teaches classes that promote healing, curiosity, and connection through thoughtful sequencing, breath work and Ayurveda traditions. She is currently training with Yoga Medicine for her 500-hour certification. She is profoundly grateful to share this practice and lead this training in 2021.
McKenzie Riepen was originally drawn to the mat for the physical workout and release from everyday pressures. With more consistency, she started to receive the benefits of yoga that spanned far beyond physical changes. She experienced clarity. Most importantly, yoga taught her how to use her breath as the most powerful tool to become more present in daily life and realign things into perspective.
McKenzie draws inspiration from the power of nature for her classes. She compassionately guides her students to connect more deeply to their true nature and to each other through breath work, creative flow sequencing, and music. Her aim in teaching is to help others find joy through their practice, which she believes should be accessible for everyone and every body.
