Tommy Johnsen

Tommy Johnsen brings a unique blend of body awareness and balance to his Yin Yoga classes. With extensive experience in Aikido and a deep understanding of body mechanics, Tommy's journey into Yin Yoga began as a way to heal his own back injuries from years of martial arts practice. This personal transformation ignited his passion for Yin Yoga, leading him to complete teacher trainings with Leah Adams in 2023 in Seattle and 2024 in Portugal.

Based in Seattle, Tommy's approach to Yin Yoga focuses on creating a calm and supportive environment where students can explore deep relaxation and inner stillness. His classes are designed to gently stretch and stimulate the connective tissues, promoting flexibility and joint health while encouraging a meditative state of mind.
