Mentorship Program Structure
1. Attend two restorative Sound Baths with Scott as a participant with follow-up 30 minute discussion. (1.5 hours in class, 1 hour one-on-one)
2. Practice Session #1: One-on-one instrument over-view/practice play with Scott. (45 minutes)
3. Attend restorative Sound Bath with Scott and co-play during session with follow-up 30 minute discussion/practice. (1.75 hours)
4. Practice Session #2: One-on-one practice-play with Scott. (45 minutes)
5. Attend restorative Sound Bath with Scott and co-play during session with follow-up 30 minute discussion/practice. (1.75 hours)
6. 2 week access to studio to practice on instruments. (4) 1 hour sessions. (4 hours)
7. Attend restorative Sound Bath with Scott and you lead entire Sound Bath follow-up 30 minute discussion/practice. (1.75 hours)
8. Attend another teacher’s restorative class and lead Sound Bath. (1.25 hours)
Mentorship learning objectives
1. You teach Restorative, Yin or Nidra classes and would like to integrate the use of meditative instruments into your classes.
2. You would like to lead sound-bath classes but want to explore teaching/playing before investing in sound instruments.
3. You want to understand the integration of instruments into the Arc of a class.
4. You are a teacher at Mind.Body.Hum (or are going to be) and you would like to be able to play the studio instruments during your classes.
5. You are simply exploring and learning.
6. You want practice time, feedback and experiential learning.
What this training is NOT
This is not a Restorative Yoga training.
